At least seven people have been killed and 10 others injured in a traffic accident in central Maidan Wardak province.
According to a statement from the provincial police headquarters, the incident occurred on Friday evening when two vehicles collided on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Sayedabad district.
Among the deceased were three children and two women. The injured were transported to the district hospital for medical treatment.
