Yemen’s Houthi movement has announced that at least 38 people were killed and 102 others injured following US airstrikes on the Ras Isa oil port.

According to the Associated Press, US Central Command confirmed carrying out the strikes.

Hours after the attacks, the Houthis launched a missile toward Israel, which the Israeli military said was intercepted.

Meanwhile, the US has accused a Chinese satellite company of “directly supporting Houthi attacks”—an allegation China has yet to respond to.

Additionally, the Houthi-affiliated satellite channel Al-Masirah reported that health workers and civilians working at the port were also among the casualties.

The airstrike caused a massive explosion and widespread fire.
